Happy Birthday to Me!

My birthday was on May 30th and, as you can see, I turned 51. David and Carolyn had a party for me at their house. My kids and I went there for supper and then at around 7 pm Art and Carol, Ken and Mitz and Robyn came for cake and coffee. We had a great time, but most of it was at my expense. Everyone knows that I don't like any form of my name, but Marge is the worst. About two weeks ago we were at David and Carolyn's playing Phase 10 and Jack told Carolyn that I hated being called Marge. That was the start of the rest of the evening being spent harassing me and calling me Marge. I told Carolyn that if she didn't stop I wouldn't invite her to my birthday. She said that she wasn't worried because she was going to have my birthday party at her house. Then she told me that if I didn't stop threatening her, she would put up a banner that said "Happy Birthday Marge".
When I walked into their back yard there was a banner that said, you guessed it, "Happy Birthday Marge". Not funny.

As you can see I am NOT happy.

Then Ethan said, Happy Birthday, Memo and I cheered up.

Sorry I didn't call you on your birthday. I did leave you a comment on your last post though. I was crazy busy that day. It looks like you had a great day. What could be better than a Happy birthday Memo cake from Ethan.

Hey, I'm sorry that we didn't come to your birthday! I got home from work, and I felt like crap. Kyle wasn't feeling too good either, and both of us were in horrible moods. I don't even think we even saw each other all evening. But I'm glad that you had a good birthday, and I got to see you on your actual birthday, so there. :D

A rose by any other name is still a rose, and smells just as sweet.

Margaret you are still one of the most sweet and special people I know.
Choose a new name. Many people do. I will honour it.

I was looking at that picture of you and was wondering how it is you look so young.
In another 9 years you will be at the top of the hill (about halfway through your lifespan), maybe then you'll start to look your age.

In another 9 years I will be 60. I hope by the time I am 120 years old, I have been in Paradise for at least 35 of them. Thanks for the flattery, though. All is greatly appreciated.

Happy birthday to you Tutz. Wish I could have been there to celebrate with you. Looks like you had a good time without me though. 51 ain't so old, today I got asked if I was old enough to get the seniors rate for salad bar at Bonanza. Its not as bad as it sounds, their age for senior salad bar is 55. So I am only 1 year away. Can hardly wait.

The key to this whole thing is health.
Scientists have dicovered that it takes about 120 years for the human body to wear out, and there is no reason we can't live healthy for that long.
Life is so much fun that I just want to live forever. When the rapture happens, I'll just move into my new digs (a mansion in heaven).

So here's wishing you a long and healthy life.

Leah, to Ethan I am Memo (Meemo) Auntie Margaret is a long name and he has called me Memo for about 2 years already. I love it. It's much better than Becky, who used to call me Auntie Maggot. LOL I am still scarred from that, Becky.

I don't blame you for not liking Marge. My middle name is Margaret, and as a kid my Dad used to call me Maggie. I like that much more. Hope you had a wonderful day, glad we were there to share it.

Happy Birthday!!
Sorry I couldn't come, we had friends here from WY for only three days.
I'm sorry you're 51.
I'd die for Luke to call me anything, even mony...I'm still trying to bribe him to get an "auntie" outta him. Not working.

Okay, it's not your birthday anymore. It's the middle of June. Stop playing your silly games and post something new like what you do with all your spare time.
