It Has Been A While.

I am so hooked on facebook now that I haven't really taken the time for blogger the way I used to, but since Becky did go to all the work of making my blog so pretty I will try to post at least once a month. At least. So, first I want to brag a bit about where I live. We have had a few weeks of beautiful weather. The kind of weather that calls you to the Beach Hut for a coffee and maybe a visit with family or friends. If you get there and you don't know anyone, it's OK too. Sitting and watching the sunn go down and drinking a coffee or a Screamer is a great way to unwind after a busy day of laying on the beach or walking along the beach stomping gooey ducks, which can be very hard on the feet.

Here is what you could see in the evening if you were fortunate
enough to live in Canada's paradise.
This was taken while Mom and Sue were visiting this summer.

This was a very sad day for me even though it looks like it should
have been fun. This was taken at Qualicum Beach
On David and Carolyn's last day living here. They actually left early
the next morning, but this was the last day I spent with them before they moved.

At first it was a little chilly, but it didn't take long to warm up
after the sun came out. Ethan didn't have a jacket
so he wore David's sweater. It didn't take long and he was stripping
down until he was in his shorts.

This has nothing to do with anything. I just love this picture.

Doesn't this just pull you back here, David?

This video was taken at Stamp Falls. It's about 20 minutes from my house and we went there with David and Carolyn and our families for a day of fun in the river.

I was going to start off bragging about BC and I ended up finishing the same way. Sorry, people. I just can't help it.

I love blogger way more than facebook too. Great post by the way. Next week is still supposed to be very nice so we'll see you at the beach hut.

The sunset is amazing!! I'm glad your blogging again. I like face book, but I think I'm getting tired of it. I like blogger way better! It feels safer on this site. I guess I'm worried that some wacko will see pictures of my nieces and I don't want that. So the personal ones I'm planning on leaving just for blogger.
I miss you!

Actually facebook is safer than blogger. No one can see your profile unless you invite them and on blogger, anyone can go on. It's totally public.

You know... You can post your blog right onto facebook, thus bringing together both addictions?

Oh, and both facebook and blogger can be totally private. The difference is that facebook gives you a little more flexibility with your privacy settings, blogger is kind of all or nothing...

Great blog. It's amazing how quickly we went from blogger to facebook, and then stayed there.

I guess as long as we use the internet its only safe until some smart ass hacks in, that is if there was something that was really worth hacking into. A friend of mine went on my profile on face book and was able to access the profile of my friends which creeped me out! But yes you can make it so only the people you want on your profile to see your profile, so I'm not sure how safe it really is!
I do wonder is any of you, ( Margaret's people) Would be able to access my profile on blogger?? Let me know the out come!
The other day I was driving out in the country and the sunset was amazing!! Then I wondered, if I had a picture of this and sent it to Margaret, would she miss SASK?????

I was able to access your profile, footsack, from this page, so yes it would work for you to get to mine. I figured I would give it a try. So much for privacy!!
Margaret, the next time you loose my blog address, just go there from here.
I suppose unless you had my address you wouldn't be able to get there by going through your search engine??!!

Great post Margaret. I will do one as soon as Jen brings me the cord for the camera. I prefer blogging to facebook too. Although therre are some things about facebook that I really like so I'll just use both. I willl try to post a picture of Mom and her new car after Saturday. It is pretty cool.

Thanks, Sue. I would love to see Mom's new car. I talked to her yesterday and she seemed excited, but nervous about driving again. She said that it seemed like forever since she had driven.

Jude, I don't miss Sask and I don't think any sunset will make me miss it. You could post the most beautiful sunset Sask has to offer and I wouldn't miss it. You could blow it up life size and send it to me and I wouldn't miss Sask. You could take me there and show me the most beautiful sunset it has to offer and I wouldn't miss Sask. You, though. I miss you. You don't even have to do anything for me to miss you. i miss my family and friends, but Sask? Nope. My "give a damn's busted" when it comes to Sask.
