I hate weekends!

Here's why I hate weekends.
#1. I don't have a life.
All my family and friends are a part of a couple. That means that they get together with other couples on weekends when they have time off work. That also means that all my friends are busy and I am stuck with only my kids for company for the weekend. Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with my kids, but I see them every week night as it is. During the week and during the day I see my sisters and friends, but Friday night rolls around and my social life goes down the crapper. Oh well. I'm single in a couples world.
#2. All of you have lives.
Every morning I get up at about 5:00. I have my devotions or my quiet time with God - whatever you want to call it- and then come to read all of your blogs ..... and ..... nothing. Because you all have a life you don't blog on weekends. So I come every day, yes, even on weekends, to see if anything new is happening. Occassionally, one of you has a spare moment and at least comments on someone's blog and I get to read something new. So, I think I will reserve my posting for weekends. That way I have something to do.

ps. Hhmm..I sound just a little pathetic. There you go Trav. I, too am pathetic. Now you are not alone.

If it's any consolation, I don't have a life, either... but I kinda like it that way... I like my alone time... Being with people all week drains me out, I need time to myself... Everyone left, and I have the house to myself.. I love it... So here I am, checking blogs on a Sunday afternoon... Then I'll make a new post, maybe read, have a nap, watch a movie, draw, play piano (now that no one is watching TV), start that puzzle... Maybe I'm weird...

Well Margaret I too am sitting here this afternoon checking blogs. Ken went to check out Jaden's studio and I was actually sick this afternoon so I have been laying around watching tv. Boring. So there you go. But I do know how you feel. I was there too but it's been a few years :o)

You should play World of Warcraft! Then you could play with me and Reagan on the weekends, cause that's all we did :):):)

Thanks for all your understanding comments. Carlie, the reason I go on line on weekday mornings is because then I don't have to fight anyone for the computer. Anyway, I don't like feeling sorry for myself so I'm going to spend some time today thinking about all the things I have to be thankful for. Then I will write a new post so that you all (almost sounds like y'all) don't have to read my depressing page.

Hey, everyone needs a depressing post... Mine was more depressing than yours... Meh... No one can be happy all the time... unless you're on something... And then it's fake, anyway...

I sometimes hate weekends too, but not for the same reason. Saturdays usually are totally dedicated to house cleaning. YUCK!!!!

I love weekends. I hold on to them with dear life and try to treasure every moment, cause I know that monday is coming and it is back to that dirty, dusty, cold, stinking elevator that is slowly draining my will to live. I need a new job or I just need to retire.
